The "American" truck.
Thе GMC CCKW is a 2.5 ton 6X6 U.S. Army cargo truck that saw service in World War II and the Korean War. It was often referred to as a "Deuce and a Half" or "Jimmy" by US troopers. The CCKW came in many versions, including open or closed cab, long wheelbase (LWB) CCKW-353 and short (SWB) CCKW-352, and over a score of specialized models, but the bulk were standard, general purpose cargo models.
In Inglourious Basterds[]
One such truck is seen delivering "American" soldiers in the Nation's Pride film prologue, during the assault on the Sicilian fortified city church tower bell that Fredrick Zoller was defending.[1] The truck doesn't appear again in the film.
